由於父母從小就給予音樂上的栽培，因此音樂底子深厚的Catherine最初的夢想其實是想成為一位音樂家。比賽時期她那有特色的嗓子還被喻為蔡健雅和那英混合體的聲線，但她其實最愛演繹的曲風並不是抒情流行曲，而是爵士樂。
